Biometric Conferences

• There is a WikiCFP for Biometrics
• The International Joint Conference on Biometrics (IJCB 11) is a combination of two major biometic research conferences, The International Conference on Biometrics (ICB) and the Biometrics, Theory, Application and Systems (BTAS) conference. The conference will be help October 11-13 in the Washington DC area. The paper submission deadline is May 27, 2011.

Sensor Networks and Sensor Mining

• There are WikiCFP's for Wireless Sensor Networks, Sensor Networks, and Body Sensor Networks
• The 4th International Workshop on Knowledge Discovery from Sensor Data (SensorKDD-2010), Washington, DC, July 25, 2010, held in conjunction with KDD 2010 (http://www.sigkdd.org/kdd2010/). Paper submission deadline is May 4, 2010. Will be updated with 2011 info once workshop is scheduled
• The ACM Sensys Conference is the ACM Conference on Embedded Networked Sensor Systems. There was an ACM SenSys 2010 conference. There is a site that lists and describes all of the Sensys conferences. The ACM SenSys 2011 conference will be held November 1-4, 2011 in Seattle Washington. The submission deadlines are April 1, 2011 for abstracts and April 8, 2011 for the full paper, with July 15 as the notification date.

  In 2010 the conference has a workshop called PhoneSense 2010 but the workshops for 2011 will not be determined until March 25, 2011.

Relevant General Data Mining Conferences

• The KDD conference is the premier data mining conference and KDD 2011 will be held in San Diego, CA, from August 21-24. Paper abstracts are due on February 11, 2011 and the full papers are due on February 18, 2011. The acceptance notification date is April 29, 2011.
• The ICDM 2011 IEEE International Conference on Data Mining will be held in Vancouver, Canada, from December 11-14. The paper submission deadline is June 17, 2011, and the notifications will be September 16, 2011.
