Practice lab question
The lyrics to the Twelve Days of Christmas have a relatively
redundant structure. For day 12, we sing:
On the twelfth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Twelve drummers drumming,
Eleven pipers piping,
Ten lords a-leaping,
Nine ladies dancing,
Eight maids a-milking,
Seven swans a-swimming,
Six geese a-laying,
Five golden rings,
Four calling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree!
For day 6 we sing:
On the sixth day of Christmas
my true love sent to me
Six geese a-laying,
Five golden rings,
Four calling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree!
Write a program that first asks the user to enter a day (1 through
12), and then outputs the lyrics to the Twelve Days of Christmas,
starting with day 1 and proceeding through each day until the day
given by the user. If the user enters day 5, the program will output
the lyrics for day 1, then day 2, then day 3, then day 4, then day 5.
For full credit you must use both a loop and a switch statement.
