These are two of my favorite basses. I find the Music Man to be an excellent bass for slapping, and plucking. It's a very good bass guitar for quick motions, and fast fretting. The tone of the music man is pretty standard but can fit in any jam or show. The bass itself is very nice, and also very comfortable. The tone knobs can raise the treble and tone of the bass guitar which can especially useful when playing genres such as rock.
The Squier Jazz bass is a classic jazz bass guitar used by many professional musicians. I find the jazz bass to be a very consistent, and versatile bass. This bass is extremely well-made for what it's worth. The neck feels smooth, and retains a beautiful glossy finish on the back. The Bass itself plays very well, and it's extremely precise. The tone knobs on the bass can create a very high treble sound or a fat low bass sound. This bass is great when playing simple bass lines.
A pedal board is long array of electronics that changes the tone of a bass or guitar by adding effects to the note being played.
Chorus | Distortion | Overdrive | Fuzz | Compressor |
---|---|---|---|---|
This pedal able to modulates the signal of the bass and slightly delays it while raising the pitch. It makes it sound "echoing".
Distortion provides a very unnatural sound by distorting the signal. Adding more gain, and tone to a note.
Overdrive emulates the sound of a cranked amp, essentially boosting the signal.
Similar to distortion and overdrive, but provides a very fat and loud signal with lots of gain.
Levels out the notes being produced by the bass. If a string is plucked to hard, the compressor will level it out.
