Syllabus

Overview: This is an introductory course to the discrete structures used in computer and information technology. There is no prerequisite. Emphasis will be placed on the ability to solve problems and develop logic thinking and reasoning. Topics including sequence, logic, set, function, counting and probability will be covered.

Prerequisites: There is no prerequisite for this class.

Class WWW site: http://storm.cis.fordham.edu/zhang/cs1100.  We will make extensive use of the class WWW site. All assignments are (only )posted on this site. The site is full of lots of useful other information including student questions and replies, and class notes.
