Develop an understanding of the role of operating systems in managing computer resources. Topics will include: process management, memory management, file management and security.
Prerequisites: CISC3593 Computer Organization or equivalent.

Class discussion forum: We are going to try using Blackboard discussion forums for our online discussions and Q&A.
