This is an onging personal project for me to develop an online platform where I can conveniently share my birding experience with other people who's interested. There will be more functionalities to come as I learn more about web development. Conceivably, one of the future functionalities could be an indexing and searching system for easy navigation through a large number of posts.

Acknowledgement

Bruce Yolton's "urbanhawks blog" was what most directly inspired this project. I also want to credit many kind NYC birders who led me into birding, including Prof. Caldwell, and Annie Berry from NYC Audubon and all the amazing contributors @BirdBronx and @BirdCentralPark. The website aesthetic draws significantly from Mike Hooper's viatorphoto. P.S. This site's favicon is a badly drawn 16px by 16px Common Kingfisher.
